Terms of service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or using our services (“The Clean Yard Co.,” “we,” “us”), you (“Client”) agree to these
Terms of Service, which apply to all cleaning and add-on services provided. If you do not agree with
any part of these Terms, please do not schedule or use our services.
2. Services Provided
We offer one-time, weekly, and bi-weekly residential yard clean-up services, including: Routine housekeeping and initial yard clean-ups. Add-ons such as odor neutralizers, disinfectant treatments, pet-waste station installation/removal, extra visits, and special event cleanups.
Services include thorough yard sweep, waste collection, double-bagging, and disposal per Client preference.
3. Access & Pet Containment (Critical Safety Policy)
Under no circumstances will we perform services if any dog is allowed to roam freely in the yard during our visit. All dogs must be securely confined indoors or in a locked, escape-proof enclosure prior to service. This is a non-negotiable safety requirement mandated by our insurance.
If our technician arrives and finds any dog not properly secured, we will not proceed with service, and the full service fee applies without discount or rescheduling. The Client is solely responsible for ensuring containment during scheduled service windows.
4. Payment & Billing
Initial Clean: Charged at the first visit to prep yard for subscription services. Recurring Services: Billed via auto-pay on a monthly basis. Payment details must be submitted prior to the first visit.
Late or Failed Payments: May result in suspension until resolved. Additional restart fees may apply.
5. Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to adjust prices, but will notify Clients in advance. Continued service after rate changes indicates acceptance.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellation Notice: Please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled service to avoid charges. Missed Visits due to containers, dogs, or access issues: Full charge applies; rescheduling depends on availability.
7. Inclement Weather
Service may be delayed or rescheduled if conditions create safety concerns (e.g., lightning, snow, ice). We’ll notify you promptly.
8. Yard Conditions & Visibility
We do our best to scoop under typical yard conditions. If waste is obscured by debris, leaf coverage, or overgrowth, some may be missed; we’ll note this and suggest cleanup if needed.
9. Equipment Sanitation
Tools and footwear are disinfected between yards to prevent contamination.
10. Liability & Insurance
We carry general liability and (where applicable) commercial auto insurance. We are not responsible for loose dogs escaping due to improper containment or gate/latch failure. We may notify you of gate damage, but containment remains the Client’s duty.
11. Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms. Significant changes will be communicated, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

Liability We’re insured; containment and gate function are client’s responsibility.
